I can’t thank you enough for all you did on Saturday. The boys absolutely LOVED it – they loved the horses, they loved the outdoors, they loved the quad bike. You were so generous with your horses and your time. You really made the day something the boys are not going to forget for a long time. On the way home they were just full of stories about the day’s events. I’ll send you the photos as soon as they are available. You have a wonderful yard, and beautiful horses. Thank you for everything! It was a pleasure to meet you.

We just wanted to thank you and Wine Valley Horse Trails for your part in our wedding. It really put the final touch on a fairytale day. We have included a photograph of your beautiful horse. If you would like some more, I’ll gladly send a few. We were also very excited to see you and your beautiful horse on Top Billing a few months after our wedding…it really brought back so many memories. Thank you once again for sharing in our special day.

I’ve been a competitive horse rider from an early age and this led me to start the horse trail riding business in 1990. The Wine Valley Horse Trails business was originally in the Stellenbosch area. After 8 years, we moved to Noord Agter in Paarl, near Rheboks Kloof. In 2023 we moved to Vrede en Lust in the beautiful Franschhoek.
I am a qualified SANEF and BHS instructor and my expertise cover most horse activities. These include show jumping, eventing, endurance riding, horse racing, polo cross, polo driving, and film work. I’ve been working with horses for the past 30 years and have run my own yard of over 180 horses for the past 15 years.”

My stunt career began in early 1977, doing Wild West and medieval jousting shows. This was primarily horse work, but after Zulu Dawn, I worked under several international stunt coordinators and learned other fields of stunt work, including high falls, fights, body burns, car and bike stunts. I now train horses for the film industry and also do leather carvings and video editing work.”
